Training Classes

Various training classes are offered periodically throughout the year to help our members grow as disciples of Christ. In the Great Commission, Jesus commanded to make disciples by teaching. Studying and learning God's Word enables us to love Him more deeply and live for Him more faithfully.

Discovery

Discovery is our 3-week membership class, offered about four times a year (typically in February, May, August, and November). This is the first class required before taking any of the other training classes. Membership is also required to be baptized/confirmed, to serve as a volunteer and to join small groups in our church. We hold a high standard for membership for the sake of accountability and commitment.

This 12-week class is for YM parents and YM students who must take the class together (as parent and child). We cover various topics consisting of a lecture time and a "table talk" discussion time between the parent(s) and YM child(ren). The class is designed to help restore broken "tables of conversation" and instill biblical values within the home, in order to build healthy Christ-centered families.

More classes are in development (TBA)
